I’ve said goodbye to the Midwest and given in to the hospitable South, chasing grey skies and rainy days, welcoming the arrival of Spring. After a week in Chicago I reunited with my mom and sister in Nashville to spend the Easter holiday together.

Now I’m in Memphis where I will be spending a month with my dearest friend Miss Emily in her beautiful home. I hope this month will be a time for rejuvenation and renewed focus. I’m determined to buckle down and concentrate on my writing and photography. Em and I will be cooking healthy, vegetarian meals together and I’ll be looking for a community garden to spend some days getting my hands dirty planting.
In May I’ll be heading further south to the beach where I’ll stay with some dear friends in Florida. Next I’ll return to Nashville to begin hiking the Appalachian Trail with my pops! I can’t wait for these adventures. I am so blessed to have family to travel with and friends who welcome me into their homes with open arms. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way. I love hearing from you and sharing this journey with you. As promised, here are some photos of my travels so far.
